Lauren Herrera MD

Dr. Herrera was incredible with showing concern about my worries, as I was just getting over the panic attack when she walked into the exam room. She was kind, empathetic, had a calm demeanor, and even said that she completely understands that someone could be late because they were at another provider's office right before that took longer than expected (which is what happened) and that she would want that provider to spend the appropriate amount of time taking care of the patient just like she would want to spend the appropriate amount of time taking care of the patients at her office.

The doctor showed strong concern for my questions and worries and took them seriously. The explanations were clear and fair though my medical condition remains complex and still a mystery which is not a reflection of the doctor's care. I appreciated being included in discussions about additional testing. The amount of time spent with me was more than most doctors have given, and while with a complex case it never feels like enough the overall experience was very good...

It is a luxury these days to get an appointment longer than 15 minutes. Dr. Herrara was able to collect all of my information and testing without the need to rush things.

I was told exactly what was being done and how the biopsies were done. Dr. Herrera was very particular in making sure I could feel no pain. She is just the nicest medical professional.

She was very professional, very competent. Answered all our questions on Neuropathy. Looking forward to my next appointment.
