Dr Dales bedside manner was severely lacking & my child & I both felt like being in the examination room with us was the last place he wanted to be. Children don't like to be in hospitals anyway, so I expected some sort of rapport building or just interest In my child to put them at ease. That didn't happen. I'm not sure his facial expression even changed from anything but disinterest during our entire visit. We were given the impression that unless my child took a lot of time off from their sport or gave up their sport, nothing was going to change with the persistent injury they are experiencing. Working in a Children's Hospital, I guess I would have expected a little bit more compassion and positive interaction with my child then my child received. Upon reaching our car, my child requested that we never return to Dr. Dale and that I actively look for another orthopedic doctor for them. Giving up or taking time off from this sport is not an option so I guess I will be looking for another physician.

He was in the room five minutes, didn't seem to want to be there. No disgnosis, passed it off as growing pains. Going elsewhere for a second opinion, very disappointed.

Doctor not very personable.seemed as though he didn't believe anything we (parents and child) said. I do think he is probably knowledgeable; but, bedside manner was definitely lacking.

Dr. Dale is awesome! He is very informative and takes his time. He make sure he answers all questions, even if they're not related to the issue that you're being seen for.
